We needed several screens replaced in our pool bungalow. Walter and his crews came highly recommended. After others we had contacted did not live up to their word we were skeptical. Not the case with Walter and his Company. He responded promptly when contacted, gave us a very reasonable estimate and was true to his word! In the end that is all a person has and it has become a rarity. Henry and crew worked diligently and did an excellent job! Also pressure washed our house, decks and concrete areas. Early this year, Walter and his crew with Alcon performed a transformative life extension project on our house at 173 Ponderosa Lane at Lake Arrowhead. Our house was the victim of a couple of poorly executed paint jobs (outside), by other local companies, which resulted in rotting around the windows and failed wood siding. It was a big job! Alcon dug in replacing wood in various areas around the house. Areas with wood that could be saved were refinished and repainted. Undamaged areas were left as is, then the replaced wood and refinished areas were painted to match the rest of the house. The Alcon crew finished this work quickly. Several neighbors commented on how great the house looked and were impressed, as was I, with the meticulous manner the work was performed. What excited us most was the work they did on our roof. We had been experiencing a leak in the chimney area of our roof for a couple years and had thrown a few thousand dollars at the problem with other local area contractors, with unsuccessful results. I talked to Walter about it, and he assured me he and his crew could fix it. To locate the exact location of the leak, Walter spent a good amount of time on the roof with a garden hose while communicating with one of his guys inside the house looking for leaks. And Walter was correct. He found the leak and repaired the issue! I really can’t say enough about Walter and his team from Alcon. These guys are very skilled, extremely hard working and are, by far, the best home contractor I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with and I’ve been a home owner since 1981. I will trust them with any of our future home maintenance needs and highly recommend them. They don’t disappoint!

Once they demoed the steps, the problem was obvious. They rebuilt the stairs and landings, the way they should have been done to begin with. The guys worked hard every day, only taking a short break for lunch, and then they were right back at it. Today they finished and it is solid, strong and it is now SAFE! My project started with wallpaper removal throughout my house and then painting all of the walls and the trim. They did such an excellent job I had them install my hard floors. They kept me informed of situations they encountered like where there used to be a leak and part of the floor needed to be replaced before installing the new hard flooring.
