The stairs to my front porch were failing, so I called a trusted friend, to mask him for a recommendation for a contractor, and he told me that the best guy to call was Walter Alcon, at Alcon Remodeling. Once they demoed the steps, the problem was obvious. They rebuilt the stairs and landings, the way they should have been done to begin with. The guys worked hard every day, only taking a short break for lunch, and then they were right back at it. Today they finished and it is solid, strong and it is now SAFE! Walter and his crew did a great job on rebuilding some steps and railing for our wooden porch. He also built us a new landing with steps going down to the backyard complete with a gate too. Walter’s crew did a beautiful job transforming my screened porch into a lovely four season sun room. My wife designed the room to match the other rooms in our house, and they executed her design perfectly. The transformation only took four days.

My project started with wallpaper removal throughout my house and then painting all of the walls and the trim. They did such an excellent job I had them install my hard floors. They kept me informed of situations they encountered like where there used to be a leak and part of the floor needed to be replaced before installing the new hard flooring. I will definitely be contacting them again for my next home project.
